**Pocket Quote of the Day: **“It’s better to have a pocket full of regrets than to have never lived.” – John Rzeznik
**Possible Game Show Answer: In Italy, it’s considered bad luck to lay bread upside **down—either on a table or in a basket.
**Today in History: It was on this date in 1933 when the 21st Amendment ended **Prohibition in the U.S. which had begun 13 years earlier.
**Wuss’up This Week: Hard to believe that last month’s Employment Report was 12k when 120k was the prediction. **The last time something was that far off was when my mom said I would ace my senior year Spanish final. (*unless of course 46% was her definition of ace.) Loyal readers of this section know I end it by saying ‘if reports come in bad for the economy, we’ll see rates go down’ – they did just the opposite that day. I don’t understand and I don’t think I ever will. All I know is that this week, the first week of December, is always focused on jobs. Today we have the ADP Employment Report, tomorrow Jobless Claims, and on Friday the Employment Report for November along with the unemployment rate (which is expected to stay at 4.1%).
**Interest Rate Update: Today we find a conforming 30yr fixed in the lower-6s for first time home buyers when the loan is $250k or less. For everyone else at $251k-$766k **a 30yr fixed rate can be found in the upper-6s/low-7s. As usual rates will vary based on type of home, equity in the home, your credit score and if you like before & after cleaning pics
**Don’t Forget to Remember: Any purchase or refinance loan closing with me I will waive $450 in lender fees! Grab yourself a cup **of instant karma and pass my info along to any friends, family, coworkers, or people that like cool pics of clouds that can use this gift.
**Pocket Quote of the Day 2: **“I keep a lighter in my back pocket all the time. I'm not a smoker; I just really like certain songs.” – Demetri Martin
**Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who on the 11/20 blog guessed Sandra Bullock! Want to be entered into a drawing to win an Aqua Net Hairspray T-shirt? ** Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “My movie came out on this date in 2007, and the plot spanned over nine months – although the one-word title sounds like a month. My costar in the movie was super good to work with (not the opposite), and I became the fourth-youngest nominee for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Three years later I starred in a movie where the actor in real life has a first name that’s a birth sign, and the one-word title of that movie can also mean origination or beginning. An anagram for my name back then was Angel Peel, but today that’s just not possible, so I guess an anagram for my name now is Eagle Pilot”
